The Director of Emphasys Centre, Mr Athos Charalambides presented the GRANKIT project at the International Conference in Italy on the 12th and 13th of November 2015. The conference focused on the use of ICT for language teaching. The title of the Paper and Speech that was included in the Conference Proceedings was “ Promoting Digital Literacy and Active Ageing for Senior Citizens: The GRANKIT Project – Grandparents and Grandchildren Keep In Touch“. An Information Day for participants of GRANKIT was organised by Emphasys Centre on the 22nd of November. The event was held with great success and many positive comments and feedback was received by Emphasys Centre from the participants (Grandparents).
The grandparents were informed about the courses which they will be participating and got to know each other in a very friendly atmosphere.
GranKit project has been disseminated within the International Conference Reconciliation Policies and Practices in the Global World, 09-10.05.2014, Iasi, Romania.
